Since it is almost August, I finally got around to archiving the June News and Site Update pages.

I think thats it.

July 29, 2002
Small update:
Updated some of the information for two compilations: Rock And Play and Screen Cuts

Boring, huh?

July 26, 2002
Another low-hassle, non-informative update. All corrections.

- Corrected the info page for Dandys Rule, O.K.. It was way fucked up, and had the information for the U.K. Get Off single.
- Corrected an error on the Album Menu page, where I had forgotten to include a > at the end of a line, making one listing not show up on the list.
- Coincidently, the link that was broken was also fucked. Every page for the EMI Swedish Sampler had "Swedish" spelled wrong. I sure felt stupid after I saw that.

And thats all for today, kids.

July 24, 2002
Been light on updates right now. Just not much going on. And, I was out of town for a few days killing some fish in the ocean.

Small, small update: I corrected two typos on the listing for DROK: the track "Nothing" was spelled with a capital O. the track also pointed to a non-existant page. So, while now there is still no lyrics for the song on the site (another problem with my being lazy), at least it links to it correctly now.

Oh, forgot about another album uploaded. EMI Sampler - September 1997. Editd related pages as well.

Pathetic update, huh?

July 22, 2002
Aaaah, another day in "rainy" Oregon. THEN WHY THE FUCK IS THE TEMP. almost 100 degrees?! God.

Added a new comp album, Modern Rock Radio - March 2001.
Added a new comp album, Virtually Alternative #93.

I have almost a dozen new articles typed up, and I just need to upload them. But, this is the weekend for me again, so I'm getting drunk instead.

July 21, 2002
Updated the setlists for the July 4 and July 5 Italy shows.
. Thanks to Marquis for both of these.

changed some of the information for the Disclaimer Music Review Archive's review of "13 Tales, by request of the review author.

July 20, 2002
Added that Bohemian Like You appeared in the movie "Little Nicky."

Fixed the Horse Pills tab page (the text for the tab page and the album cover page was reversed).

Went through and made sure all instances of the song "Traci Lords" was spelled right.

July 18, 2002

Thanks to Philippe, got a few concert updates:
Added more to the June 23, 2002 show.
Added the setlist for the March 19, 2002 show.

Tom, from Dandysrule2, posted a partial setlist to the mailing list for the July 14 show.

Also, I uploaded 8 new pics from Glastonbury 2002. They are not organized, so all 12 pictures from the show are on one long page, but I will do that soon, I hope.

July 14, 2002 - second update
Added pages for the July 13 and July 14 shows, and edited related pages. These are the last two shows before the band takes a month off, then its back to Europe for 4 more shows in 4 days.

July 14, 2002
Added pictures for the July 10th Madrid show.

July 13, 2002
Power went out in my neighborhood when an animal fell on an electric transistor and fried it. No pun intended.

Updated the info for the Surge Studio compilation.

I have a new CD to add, so More later. Right now though, I'm tired as hell.

July 11, 2002 - Second update
Added the July 11 show, including the setlist. Also updated all related pages.

July 11, 2002
Itty bitty update: Posted a better tab of House Of Yes, with lyrics (according to slabatown.net).

July 10, 2002 - Third Update
Ugh, this is turning into one of those days where I do a lot of very small updates throughout the day. And since I try to always note when I make changes, it means a lot of site updates for only a change of a word or two. Or in this case:
Thanks to Marquis, the setlist for the July 5 show in Rome.

Tomorrow I hope to do some housecleaning, by archiving Junes news and updates.

July 10, 2002 - Second Update
Thanks to Marquis, I was able to add the venue for the July 4th show. Will be getting more information on that show, along with the July 5th show, later.

Archived the July 9 and July 10th shows. I know, I know. I'm jumping the gun on the July 10th show, but I just wanted to get it out of the way.

Edited small stuff in a few other concerts.

Changed the upcoming concert listings to reflect the changes in venues for the Spain shows that dandywarhols.com has listed.

July 10, 2002
I have a hangover

Thanks to a VERY informative email, I was able to make a page about the side project that Peter did in 2000, Hotel Eden. You can read it when you get around to it.

July 9, 2002 - second update
This is a small one. Added that the band opened up for Joe Satriani at the Rome show earlier this month.

July 9, 2002
OK, this might make slabtown.net and I get in trouble, but we'll see how long it lasts...

Created a page for one of the new songs, House Of Yes, including the first guitar tabs for any album 4 material.

July 8, 2002 - third update
You ever feel like you slept forever and it must be the next day, but it has actually only been an hour? That just happened to me. I thought it was July 9th, and I came on to add the July 9th concert to the gigography, only to see that it was tomorrow. Oh well.

Corrected a stupid error for the May 15, 2001 Auckland show. And, by stupid, I mean that I was stupid for the typo. I had "New Zealand" spelled as "Zeland". Silly American.

July 8, 2002 - second update
I should have just included this with my last update. But....

Added the July 5, 2002 show
Added the July 8, 2002 show
Also edited all related pages.

July 8, 2002
God, I'm falling behind. Oh well.

Updated some new information for the May 15, 2001 Auckland show, including opening bands and the "official" setlist for the show. Scan of it coming up later. Thanks very much to Adam and Sandi for this information and the scans.

I should update later today, but it depends on how I feel. I chipped a tooth the other day eating popcorn, and the stuff the doc gave me for it is making me really tired and semi-out of it. But I don't question his methods, since he IS a doctor. I just never heard of acid helping a toothache. Oh well.

Oh, I talked to someone who has heard the album, and apparently at this stage, it sounds very much like a dance album. Hopefully when Flood comes in to work with them, that will change. Also, expect me to upload something later this week that should get me in a lot of trouble: the tabs for one of the songs in the new album. I'm taking bets on how fast I'm told to take it down by the band....

July 5, 2002 - Second Update
Added a new compilation, Top Gear Anthems and edited related pages.

July 5, 2002
I could do this the more accurate way, or I can do it the easy way. Easy way it is:
Last night at work, I uploaded a bunch of pictures of the band at Glastonbury and another one from Meltdown, this one showing Courtney backstage with Bowie.
So, just because I love you all, I made a page to collect the links for the pics from the summer festivals so far.

Expect another update soon. I have at least one new album to add to the discography and a few other tidbits.

July 4, 2002
Added pages for the July 3, 2002 and July 4, 2002 shows. Also edited/updated all related pages.

July 3, 2002 - Second Update
Added 4 pictures of the band with Bowie at Meltdown.

July 3, 2002
Added 3 new compilation albums and edited related pages:
A flavour Of The Label
Totally Movies
Melody Maker: 1998 - The Album

I think that when I get a chance, now that there are 111 compilations/promos listed in the discography, I will put all the compilations on their own page. Just is getting too long for everything on one page.

July 2, 2002 - Second Update
Uploaded 3 "tracks" from Glastonbury 2002. All three have problems as listed, but are there if you want them.
Bohemian Like You - song is complete, but the first 20 or so seconds (before the song actually starts) have an echoing/delayed vocal due to technical errors while recording.
Minnesoter - Incomplete. The recording is from the beginning of the song to right after the second verse.
Every Day Should Be A Holiday - incomplete. Missing almost all of the song, as it is really only just the final chorus sung twice, and Courtney saying goodbye to the audience.

Unfortunately, thanks to a stupid choice by your illustrious leader (me), I erased the rest of the recording when it was done.

Glastonbury and Meltdown reviews coming soon. Gathering them now and will post them "soon" (probably on July 3rd).

July 2, 2002
Updated the track listings for two compilations, The Tip Sheet Sampler #245 and The Tip Sheet Sampler #238.

July 1, 2002 - Second Update
Edited the Upcoming Concert Listings to reflect the changes in the tour and remove past concerts.

Added pages for the following concerts:
June 28, 2002 - Glastonbury Festival 2002
June 29, 2002 - Meltdown Festival 2002
June 30, 2002 - Rockpop Festival 2002
Also edited the June 2002 page to add links to the shows.

Added a new cover, The Velvet Undergrounds White Light/White Heat, which the band played during David Bowies encore at meltdown 2002.

Reviews for the shows later.

July 1, 2002
I didn't have any internet connection at home for the past 3 days, so I have a lot of updating to do. I was able to post a message or two on the messageboard from work, but couldn't really do much real updating on this page. So, expect a lot of updates over the next day or so as I play catch up. Looking in my email (though I haven't read them yet), I have a lot of word on meltdown and Glastonbury, both of which appear to not be the best shows.
