The Dandy Warhols are of course the best band in the world!!
This is the first song I've tabbed off the 'Thirteen Tales From
Urban Bohemia' album, because I finally found the lyrics for it.
You can expect some more tabs from this album. For those of you
who just want the basic chords, I can tell you right now that
the chords throughout the song are 'Dm G Dm G Dm F C D Dsus2'.
Enjoy!!
INTRO:
------
Starts with this strange slide stuff. I don't think he picks any
notes except for the first one. Best to do this with a lot
of distortion. Let all the notes ring for a while before sliding
to the next note.

BRIDGE:
-------
In the bridge, you can hardly hear what he's playing, but the
chords he plays are the normal 'Dm G Dm G Dm F C D' the
only difference is that he doesn't play the Dsus2 at the end.
And it's done very slowly, only strum each chord once or twice,
you really have to listen to it to hear what I'm talking about.
I'm not gonna tab the trumpet here, I'm not a trumpet tabber!!
(and it's hard to tab ;)
Then after you've played that once slowly you strum again
like normal 'Dm G Dm G Dm F C D Dsus2' once just the
guitar and then:
Dm G Dm G Dm
E|----------------------------------------------------
B|--------------5---------------------5----------5----
G|---7----7-5-7----5-----5--7---7-5-7----5-----5---7--
D|--------------------7---------------------7---------
A|----------------------------------------------------
E|----------------------------------------------------
F C D Dsus2
E--------------------------------------|
B--------5------------5----------5-----|
G--7-5-7----5-----5------5-----5---7---|
D--------------7------------7----------|
A--------------------------------------|
E--------------------------------------|
VERSE 4:
--------
Dm G
Hey as for the day my friend
Dm G
To hope that you could ever bend
Dm F C
I swear you are, I swear you are, I swear,
D Dsus2
That you are godless
VERSE 5:
--------
Dm G
Hey I said you're godless yeah
Dm G
Hey and you're a soulless friend
Dm F
Hey I said you're thoughtless,
C D Dsus2
and I swear, I swear
OUTRO:
------
For the outro just play the same old
chords again and the trumpet plays the
same as in the INTRO and sing this:
Godless, godless, god
You're godless
