It has the same intro as the Brian Jonestown Massacre song "Super-Sonic". As "claimed" by lead singer Anton Newcombe:
"I was in the studio, in portland working on our record "give it back!" as you know I have pioneered radio dysfunctional audio experiments with our band. Courtney Taylor walked into our studio and I played him the new record. He said "wow! what is that fucking sound?" I told him that is was just multiple AM radio tracks with feedback, and showed him how I did it. He went back to his studio,
and fucking used the new found info on his record. When I heard his record, I felt used, so I started my album with his record. I knew Capitol would not sue me because it would just promote our band."
