The Dandy Warhols, for example, have never been lacking in the personality department, and watching them grow into the great, crowd-pleasing live act they've now become, as opposed to the hazy arse-poppers of a few years ago, has been a joy all the way. 'Not If You Were The Last Junkie On Earth' is still a glorious slab of audacity, and Courtney remains a severely shiny star, even if his voice appears to be a tad more on the Barry White side than usual today. (Gracious, Mr Taylor, what have you been up to?)
