at the Steelworkx Festival
By Pierre Joly/dandysrule2
Well, not many things to say. The gig was free and the venues of bad
but famous bands ( muse & indochine ) made the audience to be fulfil
of young girls. Anyway, they played a short set with their usual
songs ( junkie, bohemian, godless, be in, minnesoter, country
leaver.. ). I'm not sure about the last song, maybe that's a song
from the first album, maybe not, i really can't tell you, it has been
1 year since I last heard the dandy rules ok, so I've forgotten its
songs.
The band was friendly, courtney asked for songs requests, but they
didn't play get off despite the crowd's shoutings.
After the last song, they didn't come back for an encore, so the
audience started to boo. Courtney quickly came back alone on stage
with his guitare, and played a slow version of every day should be an
holiday.
There were a lot of dust and a lot of wind, with zia disguised in a
cowgirl, we really had the feeling to be in south texas...
that was fun
