Comment from USATODAY.com Host: Brent and Courtney are both with us. Let's get going...

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

raleigh, nc: are you planning on making up those cancelled shows from the original tour dates? if not, you should!

The Dandy Warhols: Courtney: Yes, we'd love to, but tours get booked so far in advance that you don't know you're going to get kidney stones. You try to play in as many groovy places as you can.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Leeds, England: I saw you at the cockpit in leeds, please, please play again. Ed

The Dandy Warhols: Courtney: I think we're only going to play London.

Brent: Maybe 3 or 4 gigs.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Leeds, England: What is the one thing you want out of life?

The Dandy Warhols: Courtney: To be pretty happy and have a pretty good time every day.

Brent: remain optimistic and be happy.

Courtney: You don't care what you're doing as long as you have a good time.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Jonathan, San Diego: In your opinion, what's the most ridiculous scene from a film about a rock band?

The Dandy Warhols: Brent: The new John Lennon documentary when he and Phil Specter are singing, and Specter isn't getting it right.

Courtney: And the words are "Oh, Yoko, my love will turn you on", and Phil can't quite get into it.

Brent: Lennon's the best rocker ever, but it's the silliest thing I've ever seen. It's "The Making of Imagine". It's about John and Yoko's love for each other. It's really about Yoko. Shockingly, the moves she make and her suggestions really do make the album a little better.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Chip, San Diego CA: I dig the catchy hooks on tunes like "Minnesoter," "Godless," "Country Leaver," and others. Who writes these hooks?

The Dandy Warhols: Courtney: I write hooks, I guess.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Zhou-Zhou, Tijuana MX: Who do you relate to more: Kirk, Spock, Bones, Scotty, Sulu, or Checkhov?

The Dandy Warhols: Courtney: The second line in my movie is "Spock, that's my role model".

Brent: I might like to be Bones.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Billy, age 13, Clairemont Mesa, CA: Should I choose to **NOT** experiment with heroin simply because it "is so passe"? Is "fear of all things passe" the real reason why I should "just say no?"

The Dandy Warhols: Courtney: If you're the kind of person who'll try anything because they're cool, you probably won't try someting because it's not cool. In the case of heroin, if you try it, you'll wind up dead. And before you wind up dead, you'll be bummed out, you'll argue and yell all the time, you'll sell all her stuff to buy junk, and then you'll die.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Omaha NE: I have heard that you wrote a lot of songs after "Come Down" and before "13 Tales" that never made it on a CD. Will they ever be re-recored or even released?

The Dandy Warhols: Courtney: Almost every song I write gets recorded. Pretty much almost everything I record will get released.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hovedgaard, Denmark, Europe...: what would you be if you weren´t the Dandy Warhols, and what are your top 5 movies? I´m looking forward to your gig in Denmark the 6th of march! Greetings Nina

The Dandy Warhols: Brent: I'd be a full-time dreamer.

Courtney: I'd work in a chapeau shop. For me, "Pi", "Doctor Zhivago", "Clockwork Orange".

Brent: "Clockwork Orange".

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Comment from The Dandy Warhols: Brent: I loved "Harold and Maude".

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Jonathan, La Mesa CA: A lot of songs reference God or spirituality. Who's more spiritual, you or the Artist formerly known as Prince?

The Dandy Warhols: Courtney: I stay away from the word spiritual. I don't understand what it means, and I disagree with the sound of it. I'm a religious scientist, and I believe in the idea of religion, but in looking at the science of protons and neutrons and chemicals, we don't have to use words like magic and spirit and energy. I guess I'm a nicer person than Prince. It's strange that he'd have parties at his club and sit on his throne, not allowing people to come near him. I actually like people and want them to be happy.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Paris France: Do you guys plan to come back in France soon?

The Dandy Warhols: Courtney: Yes. We'll be there in a month and a half. We're doing an Oslo to Milan thing.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Belfast, County Down: When are you going to include a Belfast, or any Northern Ireland venue, on your UK tours? Lots of love, Adz.

The Dandy Warhols: Courtney: One of our crew is from outside Belfast, and I don't think it's something I need in my life personally -- to go to a place where people are known for shooting each other.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

BLACKPOOL, ENGLAND: So are you a big fan of the Stones, like myself, or do you just like Brown Sugar ? When are next in England, I missed you the last time.

The Dandy Warhols: Courtney: Brown Sugar is the only song I've heard by the Rolling Stones. Do you know if this band has more records out, and do they have records in America?

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Atlanta, GA: Is Courtney completely entralled by his first movie making experience? Are there more to come?

The Dandy Warhols: Courtney: I had a really good time. It's really fun. I'm sure it'll get more fun the next time--I'd like to do one with no pressure.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Ny, NY: You're probably sick of being asked this, but...Will 'The Black Album' ever get released?

The Dandy Warhols: Courtney: Yes I'm sick of being asked this. We're going to try. I keep saying we're going to. Tomorrow and tomorrrow and tomorrow...

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Livi, Vienna, Austria: Servus! (I love your band) What are your favorite places to play?

The Dandy Warhols: Courtney: Those things happen randomly. We really seem to get off in Boston.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Los Angeles, California: This is a silly question, but out of curiosity, do you guys like 80's hair bands?

The Dandy Warhols: Brent: I like the song "Talk Dirty to Me" by Poison. I like Cinderalla.

Courtney: "Girls Girls Girls" is great.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Winnipeg, MB, Canada: Do you guys think you'll ever do movie soundtracks? I mean instrumental background music, not just "whoring" songs to soundtrack CDs. I know the Velvet Underground used to do this for "art-house" movies in the 60s.

The Dandy Warhols: Courtney: We've got one where we're orchestrating our songs. When the right movie comes along we'll do it. As long as people don't change our music, because our songs are cool, we'll keep whoring them out.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Comment from USATODAY.com Host: Thanks to Courtney and Brent for being so generous with their time, and thanks so much to everyone who joined in.
