In addition to releasing and supporting a new Dandy Warhols album last year, lead singer Courtney Taylor made a short film called The Last Minute, and he will debut it at the Sundance Film Festival.
Filmed in a single night at Los Angeles' Shooting Gallery, The Last Minute features a high-profile ensemble cast that includes Anne Heche, Stone Temple Pilot's Scott Weiland, Donovan Leitch Jr. and Ione Skye.

The Dandy's management company had tapped into a program called Free Artist's Network which offers funding for artists who wish to work outside of their milieu, so the project cost Taylor nothing.

"The theme is just me having a gripe," he says of the nine-and-a-half-minute film. "It's just simply six people having a conversation. And it's a little weird, and it's a little pissed off, and then it gets kind of just funny and snotty and stupid." The Last Minute debuts Thursday night at Harry O's in Park City, Utah, and will be followed by a Dandy Warhols set.
