On September 13th, 2005, Portland, Oregon based musical outfit The Dandy Warhols (Courtney Taylor-Taylor, vocals, guitars, keyboards, percussion; Peter Holstrom, guitars, bells; Zia McCabe, keyboards, bass, percussion, harmonica, vocals; Brent DeBoer, drums, bass, vocals) will release their fifth studio album.

Entitled Odditorium or Warlords of Mars, the album is partially named after the band's infamous Portland studio headquarters. The album was produced by frontman Courtney Taylor-Taylor with longtime band collaborator Gregg Williams and mixed by Tchad Blake (Elvis Costello, Latin Playboys, the Bad Plus) and Taylor-Taylor.

The band will presage the album's release with their only live performance of the summer at Lollapalooza. A full-scale North American fall tour will be announced shortly, along with an acoustic "Suitcase Tour" in which the band will play using everything they can fit into a single suitcase (besides acoustic guitars).
