Dandy Warhols Get Cocky

Vocalist, Courtney Taylor, of the Dandy Warhols has verbally attacked several prominent U.K. artists such as The Charlatans, Blur and Longpigs by stating in an Australian newspaper, The Sydney Morning Herald, that they aren't honest about their sex and drug use.
Taylor declared, "We’ve never met an English band that isn’t mind-bogglingly fucked up on drugs, alcohol and shitty sex, from The Charlatans to Longpigs to Blur." He continued by saying, "Most of those... British bands are doing way more coke and 16-year-old girls than we’ve ever done."
The sexy singer spoke openly about the state of rock ‘n’ roll at this present time. "The point for me is that there are no rock ‘n’ roll bands anymore. People said Oasis was a rock ‘n’ roll band, but it’s really just two brothers and some session musos. There are no Led Zeppelins or Beatles any more."
But his long running complaints doesn’t stop there. This time it wasn’t about bands or the downfall of rock today, but he also launched into an attack on the U.K. press by saying, "I found the U.K. press stupid, embarrassing, dishonest and cheap."
