Ce quatuor de Portland nous propose leur 3ème album qui est un vrai régal.
Dignes enfants de l'école psychédélique, il n'ont de cesse de nous entraîner dans leur monde complexe. Il faut dire que chaque titre de l'album est une perle différente et le tout forme un collier dont on ne voudrait se séparer pour rien au monde.
C'est à la fois un univers musical complexe et des ballades country qui frappent là où ça fait mal, des rythmes orientaux, du rock pur etc…
Les influences sont notables : de la pop sixties, du Lou Reed, du Kevin Ayers et quelques réminiscences des Cars.
Très mature, 13 tales… est un vrai bijou et la notoriété de ces Dandys là va booster avec cet album qu'il faut se procurer d'urgence.
