They may be best known for the jaunty Bohemian Like You, and have recently felt an upsurge in interest thanks to their co-starring role in the arthouse hit movie Dig!, but The Dandy Warhols' four-album career has mostly gilded by on a sea of wearying psychedelia. Now they have found their feet with this sprawling world of effects and mini-symphonies. Naturally, vaunting ambition outstrips ability and they shouldn't be parodying new country on The New Country, but mostly, the sound of The Dandy Warhols spreading their wings suits them.
