La ville de Portland dans l'Oregon nous offre en cette année 2000 de bien belles surprises. Après le triomphal album d'ELLIOTT SMITH, une seconde merveille pointe le bout de son nez sous les traits du groupe THE DANDY WARHOLS. Rock psychédélique par définition, leur album est une invitation au voyage au travers de sonorités majesteuses du rock des années 70 revisité à la sauce an 2000. C'est une nouvelle fois superbe et efficace. Décidement, le rock se porte bien. Entrer dans la tribu DANDY WARHOLS, c'est partager leur goût pour les mélanges sonores caractéristiques de leurs productions. Chaque plage de l'album, de " Godless " à " The gospel " en passant par les fameux " Nietzsche " et " Get off ", s'enchaînent et donne une saveur magnifique à cet album : un voyage initiatique à travers les sons et les émotions rock du monde entier, le dépaysement est spéctaculaire.
