For the Dandy Warhols it would seem the party never ends and the comedown is laughed out of town.

Their louche, swaggering rock'n'roll forever throbs and glows with easy slogans and glitzy power, as is the way with 'We Used To Be Friends', from the forthcoming album 'Welcome To The Monkey House'.

Both the new album and single have been produced by chiselled Duran Duran android Nick Rhodes, fleshing the new material with more pop depth and quirk, whilst treating substance - here the breakdown of a relationship - as an irrelevance.

With the band looking to build on the massive success of last year's - aaarrghh - Vodafone-promoted UK smash 'Bohemian Like You', 'We Used To Be Friends' rocks and fuzzes in all the right places. It's just rather difficult to care.
