Get Off
by Chris Heath
February 27, 2002
With their bank-balances now bulging following their highly lucrative 'Bohemian…period, the Dandy Warhols prove they have absolutely no problem with milking their now practically antique album 'Thirteen Tales...', as Daft Punk said, one more time.
And why not? 'Get Off' gallops along with a pacey country n' western feel and the customary Dandy's sleaze albeit with the nagging feeling that this is prime car advert material (why stop at one?). The DW's are at last reaching the sort of audience they always imagined they were stood before.
If only the video featured our studiously dishevelled heroes on horseback, riding through Monument Valley in hot pursuit of the Comanche. Now that would be worth paying money to see.
