This compilation album is put together to raise money for various bands charities. The Dandy Warhols charity was the Sierra Club.
The text on the back of the booklet, talking about the album:
SaulGoodMan is full of people trying to make good things happen for independent music and the kids that listen to it. We have friends and families just like everyone else, who get hurt and get happy and have needs like everyone else. We do the best that we can to help those less fortunate than ourselves, and although money is not always the answer to the world's problems, it does help buy food for the hungry, battle illnesses and fund organizations that fight for the rights of everyone. All of the artists participating on this album have chosen charities they felt were important to show love to, and we thank them greatly for their caring and commitment to working with us. Keep an ear open for the next SaulGoodMan compilation and thank you for your decision to purchase "one: It's All Good, Man," it is appreciated by many.
