This compilation of acoustic songs were all played live on the KCRW radio show "Morning Becomes Eclectic." As described on the CD booklet:
"This album is a compilation of live original recordings broadcast on "MORNING BECOMES ELECTIC," the daily music program at 89.9 KCRW in Santa Monica, California. The show is hosted by NIC HARCOURT and produced by ARIANA MORGENSTERN. Some of these recordings were re-broadcast on "SOUNDS ECLECTIC," the nationally syndicated program that combines the best of "MORNING BECOMES ECLECTIC" into a weekly show. All of the performances were recorded direct to two-track digital audio tape in KCRW's live performance studio; none of the tracks included on this compilation have been re-recorded, remixed, or overdubbed."
